There is all sorts of satisfaction and pride that comes with purchasing your own property and graduating into the adult category of homeowner. First let me say, Congratulations. You are SUCH an adult. I hope you are ready for this financial and emotional adventure you’ve added to your already busy life. Whether you purchased a single-family home with the fence and yard, a 500-sq. ft. apartment, an attached townhouse, or anything in-between. There is an incredible feeling of accomplishment when owning the 4 walls around you. But with this new feeling of maturity, and pride comes a whole new list of ‘how-to’ in order to take care of those walls, floors, appliances, lawn, furniture, pipes, wires, and everything else that makes it your home.
